Taylor Kinney Calls Fiance Lady Gaga "Amazing" in 'American Horror Story: Hotel'
The actor helped Lady Gaga prepare for her role as Countess Elizabeth.
-- Lady Gaga revealed that fiance Taylor Kinney helped her prepare for her role as Countess Elizabeth in "American Horror Story: Hotel" -- and now the "Chicago Fire" actor is spilling on what it was like to help the singer make her acting debut.
Kinney spoke to E! News about helping the "Bad Romance" singer prepare for "American Horror Story," and revealed that helping Lady Gaga made him a better actor in the process.
"I just wanted to help my girl prepare the best that she could, so that in itself has helped me just kind of ... get immersed in it, in the work, and that translates ... the more you talk about it, the more you do it, that stays with you," Kinney said.
Kinney admitted that even some of his "Chicago Fire" cast mates pitched in to give acting advice to the 29-year-old singer.
"We've gotten together Friday nights, Saturday nights to help my girl prepare, to help read, to get her off book, to give her choices," Kinney said.
As for Lady Gaga's television debut, Kinney had nothing but kind words to say about her performance.
"It was amazing. I'm proud of her, and I push her," said Kinney. "I support her 100 percent. Ryan Murphy has done an amazing job. That cast is amazing. ...She loves it. She really does. I think she did great."
Kinney proposed to Lady Gaga in February 2015.
