Taylor Swift announces new album 'Reputation,' 1st single out Friday
After a week of teasing fans, she made the big reveal.
— -- After a week that included deleting her social media posts, then posting a trio of cryptic video clips of a snake, Taylor Swift has announced her new album "Reputation."
The album will be out Nov. 10 and the first single is expected to be released 12:01 a.m. Friday.
Swift even shared what looks to be the cover of the album on Instagram.
Swift started her social media push on Monday, sharing one third of a snake video, the tail. The body and the head followed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
She didn't make clear what the apparent album cover and the snake videos meant, but some of Swift's rivals and even exes have used the snake emoji in the past via social media. Last year fans of Swift's ex, Calvin Harris, used the snake emoji along with "#TeamCalvin" after the duo split and he voiced his concerns via Twitter in regards to one of his hit songs Swift co-wrote.
Swift has always put her life, including relationships, into her music and lyrics.
Swift also won a civil trial earlier this month against a former DJ, who she claims groped her a few years ago backstage at one of her shows. A jury ruled in her favor and granted her the $1 judgment she requested.

Martinez and the jury for their careful consideration, my attorneys Doug Baldridge, Danielle Foley, Jay Schaudies and Katie Wright for fighting for me and anyone who feels silenced by a sexual assault, and especially anyone who offered their support throughout this four-year ordeal and two-year long trial process," Swift said in a statement obtained by ABC News on Aug. 14.
