Teresa Giudice Will Give Her Maserati, Cash to the Feds
The reality TV star owes the federal government $414,588.
-- Teresa Giudice is almost halfway done with her 15-month prison sentence, but she's still working to repay her debt to the federal government.
The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has agreed to give up her 2005 Maserati and 50 percent of money earned from a renting out her Lincoln Park, N.J. property, according to paperwork obtained by ABC News. Giudice will also surrender a portion of her pay from her Bravo reality TV show and furnishings from her mansion in Montville Township.
Guidice, 43, reported to prison in Danbury, Conn. in January after pleading guilty to tax fraud. Her husband, Joe, 43, was sentenced to 3.5 years behind bars and will begin serving that sentence when his wife is freed. For now, he's caring for the couple's four daughters.
"It's heavy on his heart. It's a lot," "Real Housewives" star Melissa Gorga said in May. "He's manning up. He's doing what he has to do."
