— -- Actress Rachel Bloom took home the award for Best Actress in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy at the 2016 Golden Globes for her role as Rebecca Bunch in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend." The 28-year-old actress is fairly new to the Hollywood scene, and told ABC News after she was nominated for the award that she was "just so grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for putting [her] on the map in [her] career."

In her acceptance speech she noted that she "almost didn’t have a show,” because it kept getting rejected by networks. "We got six rejections in one day and we felt like crap but we knew it was good,” Bloom said.
