How Tim McGraw Plans to Spoil Faith Hill This Mother's Day
The singers have three teenage daughters.
-- Having teenage daughters means Tim McGraw doesn't need to help them prepare Mother's Day gifts for their mother, Faith Hill, anymore.
But he still likes to find ways to spoil his wife on her special day.
"I try to find something that's interesting for my wife," he told ABC News. "Of course, breakfast in bed's always pretty good."
For now, McGraw, 48, and Hill, 47, have three teens at home: Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. But Gracie just turned 18 and will graduate from high school later this month while Maggie will be a high school senior next year.
McGraw, meanwhile, has become philosophical about watching his daughters start dating and developing lives of their own.
"At first, you start off, you say, 'I'm going to have a shotgun across my lap and I'm going to sit in the front door,'" he said of his daughters’ meeting boys. "But as they get older, you sort of grow along with that.
“You just want them to be happy and you want them to go out and experience life in the best ways. You feel like you do your best to raise them with good values and to respect themselves and respect other people."
