His latest work on "Mission: Impossible 5" shows that nothing has changed.

The 52-year-old actor was filmed hanging outside of plane, flying high above the U.K. over the weekend (below).

"One night, after one of the earliest shooting days, I bolted up in bed realizing that we had our star dangling about a mile up in the air on a thin wire and my brain was screaming, ‘What the hell are we doing,’” director Brad Bird told The New York Daily News. “The whole thing was one, extended, hair-raising moment but we planned well.

The newspaper also reported that journalists asked the actor what was going through his mind when they shot the daring scene. His answer was simple.

"I hope I don’t fall,” he said.

A rep for the actor has not responded to a request for comment.
