Whether you are a music, movie or reality-TV lover, there was someone huge getting married that made you pay attention.

Clooney, who was married once before, famously declared that he would never marry again. But Alamuddin, the Oxford grad, was just too amazing to pass up. The lawyer wore an Oscar de la Renta wedding gown on her big day. After the ceremony, Clooney told People magazine that marriage feels “pretty damn great.”

The couple tied the knot May 24, giving their vows inside the Belvedere Fort in Florence, Italy. Kardashian wore a white Givenchy gown.

They were already parents to baby North West, 1, before West, 37, proposed to the reality star, 34, last year on her 33rd birthday. The wedding weekend was the party of the year, with a celebration in Paris days before everyone jetted to Italy for the actual event.

That was what the world woke up to Aug. 28, after Angelina Jolie, 39, and Brad Pitt, 50, were secretly married in Chateau Miraval, France. The wedding was small and attended only by family and friends. Pitt and Jolie's children -- Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox -- all took part in the wedding, according to The Associated Press.

Maddox and Pax actually walked Jolie down the aisle, while Zahara and Vivienne threw rose petals. Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers.

The bride, 28, and groom arrived at the ceremony on vintage white-painted bicycles decorated with cream roses. Knowles wore a cream pantsuit with plunging neckline and cape by Stephane Rolland, according to Vogue magazine.
