Viola Davis Promises Plenty of OMG Moments in Season 3 of 'HTGAWM'
The Viola Davis drama premieres tonight on ABC.
-- Viola Davis can't wait for season 3 of "How to Get Away with Murder" to start on Thursday because she's confident that the "Oh my God" moments will have fans hooked.
Davis, who stars as professor Annalise Keating, said fans won't have to worry about what they missed during the summer break, because the show brings you back into the drama in the first episode.
"You're going to come in right exactly where it left off where [Wallace] Mahoney was shot in the head, who was revealed as Wes' father," Davis told ABC News. "So that's where it's going to pick up."
But, don't expect that to be the only story line to follow this season. According to Davis, that's just one of the many things to stay tuned for during the season.
"And then a new mystery is going to be revealed and I'm telling you, I'm not just saying it to hook you -- I sort of am, but I'm really not -- is we haven't been able to figure it out as a cast," she says. "We haven't."
The Golden Globe-winning actress echoes her "HTGAWM" boss, Shonda Rhimes, in explaining what to expect this season.
"You know what, I don't have to say it, but it warrants it," Davis said. "When you read every script, every episode, you automatically channel the audience, and you know how they are going to respond to it, so ... I say 'OMG exclamation point.'"
Season 3 of "How to Get Away with Murder" premieres tonight at 10 p.m.
