Watch Muhammad Ali's Public Memorial Service Live From Louisville

The late boxer's funeral is being held today in his hometown of Louisville.

The iconic boxer, who died June 3 at age 74, will be honored with an interfaith service, according to family representatives.

Today's public memorial service follows Thursday’s traditional Muslim funeral in honor of Ali.

The service, which started at 2 p.m., is being led by Imam Zaid Shakir and will include clerics from multiple religions.

"This entire service was his specific request," family spokesman Bob Gunnell said at a news conference earlier this week. "He truly loved all people."

After the memorial service, a private reception for family, friends and other guests will be held at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville.
