Zooey Deschanel Secretly Marries and Welcomes Baby Girl, Rep Says
“New Girl” actress Zooey Deschanel has wed and given birth to a daughter.

Not only did actress Zooey Deschanel secretly tie the knot with her fiance Jacob Pechenik, the coupled welcomed a new daughter.
"I am thrilled to confirm that Zooey Deschanel and her husband Jacob Pechenik are new parents to a beautiful healthy baby girl," her rep confirmed to ABC News on Monday about the couple's first child.
The "New Girl" star, 35, confirmed in January that she was expecting, then one week later revealed she was also engaged. It was unclear when she got married.
"Jacob and I are over the moon," she said when announcing the pregnancy, according to People magazine. "We are so excited to meet our little one."
In March, she joked about all the things she had to give up for her forthcoming child.
"You can't have sushi. You can't have cheese that tastes good," she told Jimmy Kimmel. "I would have, like, four cups [of coffee] a day and now I can have a half cup which is a joke. It's a total joke!"
She also told Kimmel that she and Pechenik were waiting to find out the baby's gender.
"We are gonna be surprised," she said. "It's more fun!"
