'Flawless': Demi Talks Life, Love and Her New Film

Mar. 25, 2008— -- Starring in the upcoming heist film "Flawless," actress Demi Moore appears to be at the top of her game.

Now 45, she has made headlines in recent years for her marriage to 30-year-old heartthrob Ashton Kutcher and her own flawless good looks.

Despite all the success, Moore says her biggest flaw "is how much I can allow fear to dictate in my life."

She jokes that there are some days when she sees things in the mirror that cause a bit of panic — "I wake up and it's like, 'Wow, that whole thing's fallen down,'" — but she tries instead to focus on the positive.

"If we spend all of our time just focused on that, then we really miss kind of stepping back — really looking at the big picture of your whole life, and going, well, if that little line is really what's dictating my happiness or my value, then I'm really missing out on celebrating everything that I have," she told "Good Morning America" anchor Diane Sawyer today.

And Moore does seem to have it all. Her former husband, Bruce Willis, remains a close friend to her and Kutcher, and the group often can be seen in public as one big happy family.

"I would say the greatest gifts that came out of a relatively unfortunate divorce with Bruce was the depth of my understanding of how easy it is to take your partner for granted, and how quickly that can lead to the demise of your connection with one another," she said. "We get very comfortable very easily and then we lose sight of that appreciation. I think you have to wake up every day as if it's a brand-new day, as if it's the first day — it takes a consciousness, and I think it's a lot more fun," she said.

Moore appeared with her three teenage daughters in a spread in the April issue of Harper's Bazaar. She says whenever possible they have family dinners together at home.

Rumer Willis, 19, is an actress and will be appearing in the 2008 film "I Know What Boys Like."

Moore says Scout Willis, 16, has been busy traveling this past year. "She spent six months living with a family and friends and now speaks fluent French," Moore said. "As we speak, she's in Guatemala on a community service project building houses."

The youngest, Tallulah Willis, 14, has appeared in movies as well. "I'm actually going to continue on in New York with Tallulah to do a mother-daughter spring break," she said.

Flawless

Moore stars alongside Michael Caine in the diamond heist film "Flawless" as Laura Quinn, a driven executive in 1960s London who has hit the glass ceiling at her work place.

"She's brittle," Moore said of her character. "And in her time she was trying to do heroic, pioneering things and crashes right against a wall? I was thinking about how women were allowed to be in the work force just if it was a means to finding a husband and getting married. So there wasn't really room for somebody who had desires and ambitions outside of what was considered the norm."

Seeking some sort of justice, she teams with a janitor with grievances of his own (Caine), and conspires to steal a handful of diamonds from their employer.

The film opens nationwide Friday, March 28.
