Ariana Grande to headline Manchester Pride in August, asks fans to bring clear bags to her shows
It'll be her first show in the city since a benefit concert in 2017.
Ariana Grande is giving her Manchester fans something special this year.
According to BBC, the singer will be headlining Manchester Pride in the U.K. city on Aug. 25.
The appearance by Grande comes two years after the deadly terrorist attack outside her concert at Manchester Arena, which claimed the lives of 22 people. It'll be her first time back performing in the city since her One Love Manchester benefit concert a month after the attack.
Grande had previously promised she would play "a special show" in Manchester as part of her upcoming world tour, but hadn't confirmed details.
The chart-topping star launches her "Sweetener/thank u, next" tour next month, and in the name of security, she's asking all attendees to carry their things to the show in clear, see-through bags. She'll be selling a few styles of bags for fans to use.
"We're sending out emails soon encouraging you to order a clear bag to bring your things into the venues as security is going to be very precise and smooth but for sure super strict," Grande wrote on Twitter.
"They're super cheap and simple but having them ahead of time will for sure help things go as smooth as possible," she added.
