'Bachelor' alum Madison Prewett is engaged to Grant Troutt
Prewett appeared on Peter Weber's season of "The Bachelor" in 2020.
Madison Prewett has accepted a final rose.
On Monday, the "Bachelor" alum announced her engagement to boyfriend Grant Troutt. The reality star shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram account, including one with Troutt down on one knee.
"7.31.22. You were worth the wait," she wrote in the caption.
Prewett, and Troutt, both 26, dated for eight months before deciding to take their relationship to the next level. The dreamy beach proposal went down at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, with Prewett wearing a white backless gown and Troutt in a light blue suit.
"Grant was waiting for me and led me out to the beach, where he had candles and flowers and a Bible with my new name on it," Prewett told People of the moment. "And the ring of my dreams!"
"I have waited for this day my whole life," she continued. "I am so excited that it's finally here. He is everything I have prayed for, waited for and dreamed of my whole life. He was definitely worth the wait."
When it comes to the nuptials, the couple, who plan on having a short engagement, said they "want the wedding to embody our values and beliefs and be the best celebration with all of our people." They said they want the wedding to be "chic and classy."
Prewett was first introduced to fans as a contestant on Peter Weber's season of "The Bachelor," which aired in 2020. She finished as the runner-up to Hannah Ann Sluss, but briefly reconciled with Weber after he and Sluss broke up.
