Ben Affleck sends Jennifer Garner a sweet Mother's Day message: 'So happy to share these kids with you'
Affleck and Garner were married from 2005 to 2018.
Ben Affleck didn't let Mother's Day pass by without paying tribute to ex-wife Jennifer Garner, the woman who made him a father of three.
The "Argo" director, 48, took to Instagram to post a sweet message to the "13 Going on 30" actress, 49, while sharing a slew of family photos.
"So happy to share these kids with you. Luckiest parents in the world. Thanks for all the good you do. Happy Mother's Day. Love, their Dad," Affleck wrote in the caption.
The "Justice League" star included photos of Garner with each of their three children -- daughters Violet, 15, and Seraphina, 12, as well as son Samuel, 9.
Affleck only appeared in one of the photos: A pic from Halloween showing the family in their "Wizard of Oz" costumes. He was the Tin Man, Garner was Glinda the Good Witch and their children were Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow.
The Oscar winner blurred the faces of his children in the photos to protect their privacy.
Garner also celebrated Mother's Day by expressing how thankful she was that the important people in her life were all "healthy, funny, sweet."
"I woke up teary today, aware that I am in the sweet spot: my children -- healthy, funny, sweet," the "Alias" alum wrote. "My mom and sisters, niece and nephews, beloved girlfriends, bonus children, bonus moms from my own childhood -- healthy, funny, sweet."
