Blake Lively 'proud' she left the house after welcoming 4th child
Lively celebrated an "excuse to wear neon and heels."
Blake Lively is a busy mom of four, so it's no surprise she treasures her free time.
The "Gossip Girl" alum recently celebrated a night out at Barnard College's annual gala -- proceeds from which help underwrite student financial aid at the school -- and documented the getting ready process from beginning to end.
One photo she shared to her Instagram story shows her in a towel getting glammed up. In another, she shows off her earrings while wearing what she describes as "Christmas pajamas."
Lively got playful for two photos in which she showed off her floral Carolina Herrera dress and hot pink Sergio Hudson coat with bright yellow lining.
"Now you see me," she captioned one image highlighting her colorful jacket. "Now you don't," she captioned another snap, her floral dress blending into a similar floral portrait behind her.
"If I keep taking photos in these clothes it will no longer be an actual outfit but an actual Transformer," the "A Simple Favor" actress wrote in a final Instagram story post. "I'm just so proud I left the house."
In an Instagram post on her grid, Lively joked that the event gave her an "excuse to wear neon and heels."
Lively welcomed her fourth child earlier this year, after announcing she was expecting back in September.
Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds recently opened up about welcoming their fourth child together, saying, "Look, we wouldn't do this four times if we didn't love it."
