Country fans are in for a treat this holiday season.
Thomas Rhett and his wife, best-selling author Lauren Akins, will host the annual "CMA Country Christmas" special, airing Monday, Nov. 30 at 9/8c on ABC.
"We can't wait for you all to get to watch that and get into the holiday spirit with us," Rhett told "Good Morning America" Wednesday.
Paul Miller will direct the special, and Robert Deaton will serve as the executive producer and writer. Performers for the special will be announced at a later date.
"I feel like this year, everyone's needed things to celebrate and look forward to and so it was like the second Halloween was over...I started decorating for Christmas," Akins said.
Fans of Rhett can also tune in to the 54th Annual Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday night to watch a performance from the artist.
He will sing his hit song “Be a Light” with Reba McEntire, Hillary Scott and Chris Tomlin. Akins will also act as a presenter during the show.
The 2020 CMA Awards air live on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central.
