Jada Pinkett-Smith and daughter Willow Smith flaunt their pre-Mother's Day workout
The pair uses books as weights during home fitness class.
Jada Pinkett-Smith and Willow Smith are mother-daughter goals getting in a little pre-Mother's Day workout at home.
Jada took a break from promoting her daughter's new video "Believe That," with her group, The Anxiety, to work on those muscle-toned abs before the Mother's Day weekend, sharing a video on Instagram.
The two used heavy books such as "Speak Truth to Power: Human Rights Defenders Who Are Changing Our World," as weights.
During last week's episode of "Red Table Talk," titled "How Your Relationship Can Survive Quarantine," Jada shared how COVID-19 has impacted her marriage to actor Will Smith. She said, "I don't know Will at all."
"I feel like there's a layer that you get to. Life gets busy and you create these stories in your head and that is your idea of your partner -- but that is not who your partner is," she continued. "It's challenging. You're forced to look at things differently."
One of the things Jada and Will have done to help their marriage survive the pandemic is taken the time to learn to love themselves individually and build "a friendship along the way."
Hopefully, Will Smith has some extravagant plans for this special Mother's Day weekend to put the spark back in their marriage.
