Kelly Clarkson shares new teaser of breakup song 'Mine' off new album: Listen here
The song comes out April 14.
Kelly Clarkson is giving fans another snippet from her new song "Mine."
In an Instagram post Friday, the singer shared a verse of the song, which is out on April 14.
"I hope someday someone will take your heart and hold it tight / make you feel like you're invincible deep inside / and right when you think that it's perfect, they cross a line / and steal your shine / like you did mine," Clarkson sings in the audio clip.
Clarkson initially revealed the title and release date of "Mine," off her new album "Chemistry," earlier this week on Instagram.
In that post, she shared video footage of herself singing a verse from the song to amp up fans.
"Someone's gonna show you / how a heart can be used / like you did mine," the original "American Idol" winner and talk show host sings in the clip.
On Thursday, the original "American Idol" winner also shared another snippet from a song called "Me," also from "Chemistry."
"I don't need somebody to hold me / don't need somebody to love me / don't need somebody to pick these pieces up / I put together my broken / let go of the pain I've been holdin' / don't need to need somebody / when I got me," she belts in the audio clip.
The snippets of new music come on the heels of Clarkson announcing a Las Vegas residency at Bakkt Theater -- formerly Zappos Theater -- at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in support of "Chemistry," with dates in July and August.
Clarkson announced her new album last month, saying in a video posted to social media that it has been in the works for "close to three years."
"This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship, and a whole relationship shouldn't be just brought down to one thing," she explained. "So there's the good, the bad, the ugly thing kinda going on in it."
