Jennifer Hudson arrived at the Academy Awards on Sunday ready to perform the song "I’ll Fight" from "RBG," the Oscar-nominated documentary about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
But despite her poise onstage, Hudson spent the night swooning over encounters with fellow stars -- and we're so loving her for it.
Here are a few of our favorite moments from Hudson's giddy night.
Photographers went bonkers as Hudson met Close on the red carpet. She later shared an image of the pair on Facebook, writing, "Such an honor."
Hudson bumped into Streisand at the Vanity Fair Oscars party and snagged a pic with the star, writing, "Omg omg."
Hudson posed with with former NBA star, noting in her caption her and Pippen's connection to Chicago, Illinois. "Chicago legend," she wrote on Instagram.
Hudson was visibly beside herself as she encountered Bette Midler backstage. "That moment when you finally get to meet @bettemidler @theacademy OMG! I love he," Hudson captioned on a video of the meeting.
Hudson appeared to be fully immersed as Gaga accepted the award for best original song for "Shallow" from "A Star is Born." Hudson was captured on camera nodding and mouthing the word "yes."
Video of the moment, which was shared by Hudson, quickly garnered lots of attention on social media.
It's safe to say Hudson had a great night at the Oscars, even if her song did not pick up an award.
