Oscars 2021: Stylish couples hit the red carpet

Stars are arriving at Union Station for the 93rd annual Academy Awards.

Stars are arriving on the red carpet for the 2021 Oscars!

The 93rd Academy Awards, airing Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on ABC, are being held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Union Station in Los Angeles and international locations via satellite.

Check out some of the fashionable couples who have hit the carpet:

Viola Davis and Julius Tennon

Davis, who is the most-nominated Black actress in Oscars history, is up for best actress for her performance in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom."

She could make history as the second Black woman to win best actress after Halle Berry, who won for her performance in "Monster's Ball" in 2002.

Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford

Mulligan is also up for best actress for her performance in Emerald Fennell's "Promising Young Woman."

Riz Ahmed and Fatima Farheen Mirza

Ahmed is up for best actor in a leading role for "Sound of Metal."

Leslie Odom Jr. and Nicolette Robinson

The actor is up for best actor in a supporting role for his performance in "One Night in Miami." He also co-wrote "Speak Now" from the film, which is up for best original song.

Steven Yeun and Joana Pak

The actor is nominated for best actor for his performance in "Minari."

Paul Raci and Liz Hanley Raci

Raci is up for best supporting actor for his role in Darius Marder's "Sound of Metal."

Lee Isaac Chung and Valerie Chung

The acclaimed director is nominated in the best director category for his semi-autobiographical drama "Minari." The film is nominated for a total of six Academy Awards.

Chloé Zhao and Joshua James Richards

Zhao is nominated in the directing category for her film, "Nomadland."

She is the first woman of Asian descent and the first woman of color to be nominated in the category.

Richards is the film's cinematographer.
