'Star Wars' star does push-ups with son to promote exercise while social distancing
"Babybacca decided to help me stay active."
Joonas Suotamo didn’t just do the “See 10, Do 10 Challenge,” he made it a family affair.
The “Star Wars” actor -- who is a former professional basketball player in his home country of Finland -- took to Instagram to share a video of him doing 10 push-ups with his 2-year-old son, Aatos, on his back to promote exercise during social distancing.
“Babybacca decided to help me stay active and do the #see10do10challenge during this difficult time,” Suotamo wrote in the caption, cheekily passing the baton to Ron Howard, Rian Johnson and J.J. Abrams -- all of whom have directed him in past movies.
Suotamo -- who recently welcomed a newborn daughter with wife Milla Pohjasvaara -- is, of course, best known for playing Chewbacca in the iconic movie franchise.
He was first a body double for the late Peter Mayhew in Abrams' “The Force Awakens” (2015) before taking over the role entirely for Johnson's "The Last Jedi" (2017), Howard's "Solo" (2018) and Abrams' "The Rise of Skywalker" (2019).
