WWE Superstars visit children in the hospital ahead of WrestleMania
The wrestling stars stopped by the Brooklyn Hospital Center.
Ahead of WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, April 7, WWE Superstars paid a visit to children at the Brooklyn Hospital Center.
WWE's Bayley, Sasha Banks, Jaxson Ryker, Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake took the trip to New York Wednesday to give the children there their own WWE championship belts.
Ryker, Cutler and Blake make up the WWE NXT trio The Forgotten Sons, while Bayley and Banks are the WWE Women's Tag Team champions.
The Superstars travel all over the country for work and love helping the communities they visit.
"This is what makes our job the best because we get to give back and put smiles on these kids faces," Cutler told "GMA."
At the hospital, the Superstars got to play and draw with the children.
"They seem a little shy at first, you know, whether they watch us or not, but when we hand them the championships [belts], I think they think it’s really cool and that makes them feel like a champion, just like they are," Bayley said.
The visits give the children a chance to see new people and get their mind off of being in the hospital.
At the end of the visit, Banks said, "They brought a joy to my day today and I hope I did the same for them."
