Dachshund celebrates becoming mom to 5 pups in photo shoot
Sugar welcomed her five, furry children into the world on Sept. 3.
Sugar, a dachshund, posed in an adorable photo session with her newborn puppies.
Laura Shockley of Laura Shockley Photography, who also happens to be Sugar's owner, snapped sweet pics of the dog and her puppies, who were born Sept. 3.
Sugar even posed in a skirt during a maternity shoot before giving birth.
"I am a maternity and newborn photographer ... I decided to play around with Sugar and see if I could have it be special enough," Shockley told "GMA." "We made a little skirt to fit her. We posted the pictures and it went crazy."
Three of Sugar's pups already have homes with Shockley's family and friends.
Shockley also owns Sugar's partner, Mac, another dachshund and the proud dad of the five puppies.
