Sisters break down in tears when Christmas wish for a puppy comes true

Emme and Ella of Michigan were surprised with a 10-week-old golden retriever.

The sisters, Emme and Ella, opened the front door of their family's Commerce, Michigan, home on Dec. 1, to see a box wrapped with a big white bow on top.

When the box began to move, the sisters started screaming and covering their mouths in disbelief.

Inside was a 10-week-old golden retriever, an early Christmas present the sisters named Skye.

The sisters' mom, Nicole Barclay, told Storyful that a puppy was requested in the letters Emme and Ella and their 2-year-old sister delivered to Santa Claus before Thanksgiving.

Barclay and her husband told their daughters they were going to a Christmas party on Dec. 1, but actually snuck away to pick up Skye.

When they returned, they dropped Skye off with a neighbor, who put the dog in the gift box on the Barclays' front porch and rang the doorbell for Emme and Ella to answer.
