And the Winner of Robin Roberts' Oscar Dress Challenge Is ...

Shawn Reddy's eggplant gown was the audience's favorite.

March 8, 2010— -- Nearly 40,000 people logged on to "Good Morning America's" Web site to weigh in and help Robin Roberts decide which dress to wear to the Oscars. More than half preferred Shawn Reddy's eggplant-colored gown.

Roberts wore the one-shoulder dress, accenting it with a vintage cocktail ring from Verdura and a gold Judith Lieber clutch.

"Thank you all for making me feel like a princess on Oscar night," Roberts said.

Fabiola Arias' emerald dress was the audience's next favorite, followed by Kwame Brako's midnight-blue gown.

The three designers were graduates of Parsons the New School for Design.

Reddy, Arias and Brako were the three finalists chosen from five to compete in the red-carpet challenge to dress the "Good Morning America" anchor for the biggest night in Hollywood.

The five designers showed their sketches on "Good Morning America". With the help of Glamour magazine's executive fashion editor at large, Suze Yalof Schwartz, Roberts then whittled her choices down to three.

Below are the three finalists and their gowns.

Arias decided to create an emerald green dress that gradually fades to navy blue at the bottom.

Brako sketched four or five designs before finally settling on a one-shoulder dress in a shade of midnight blue.
