Jennifer Lopez's Pick for Best Dressed

March 6, 2006 — -- Jennifer Lopez was not nominated for any awards Sunday night, but the star who stole the spotlight when she presented in one of the hottest gowns of the evening still had fun at the show.

"I always love the acceptance speeches," Lopez said. "You know, when everybody gets really emotional and thanks their mom and dad and their husbands, and their inspiration and their music. I'm a sucker for that stuff."

Lopez chose a vintage green gown for the evening, but the actress who won best dressed in her eyes was fellow presenter Uma Thurman who wore a cap-sleeved, chiffon-skirted cream dress.

"Gorgeous when she walked out -- oh!" Lopez said. "She's just so statuesque, that beautiful dress, it was perfect for her skin tone."

Lopez attended the Oscars with her husband, Marc Anthony.

"It's just great. I love the Oscars," Lopez said. ""My husband has never been, so it's his first Oscars. It's like my fifth or sixth time so I'm, like, a veteran."

But at least one moment surprised Lopez -- Three 6 Mafia's win for original song.

"I was a little surprised," Lopez said. "I'm happy for them. They were ecstatic and that's a beautiful thing. You want people who are not jaded, and they bring that life into the room. It was really beautiful."
