Kaley Cuoco tries recreating two Instagram hair hack videos: 'Did I get it?'
Recreating viral looks is harder than it seems.
Are those quick Instagram hair tutorials really that easy to recreate?
Kaley Cuoco is trying to find out.
In August, the "Big Bang Theory" and "Flight Attendant" star took to her Instagram account to recreate a hairstyle she saw online. "I'm obsessed with watching hairstyle videos and I wanna recreate a few ... they make them look so easy," Cuoco explains at the start of that video.
Cuoco then follows an Instagram tutorial on the @makeupsface account, originally by user @ingaterner, which shows how to create the illusion of a thicker and fuller ponytail.
"Did I get it?" Cuoco says after following the video step by step, laughing along the way.
"Um," her friend and makeup artist Jamie Greenberg replies.
But Cuoco didn't stop there. Over the weekend, she posted her second attempt at recreating another viral hair tutorial from Instagram account @buuble.v.
This time, Cuoco tries to get her hair into a large claw clip. It takes a couple of tries, but Cuoco seems to get the hang of things.
"I’m gonna keep trying everyone. We can do this together," Cuoco commented on her post.
At the end of her video, Cuoco shows off her own hair hack -- one she says she also learned on Instagram.
The actress demonstrates how she puts her hair in a "high pony", pulling her ponytail only halfway through on the final loop of elastic. She then splits the resulting "bun" in half, twists it so the two sides are lying vertically, and clips the hair in place with a large claw clip.
"Do we dare try one more?" she wrote in overlaid text at the end of the video.
Fans can only hope they do.
