This playful 'Powerpuff' girl makeup is exactly what you need this Halloween

It's has a little bit of sugar, spice, and everything nice.

The nostalgic animated television series captured the hearts of many during the late '90s and early 2000s, and still brings back fun memories today.

Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup were the key characters of the show and, without a doubt, Buttercup proved to be the toughest of them all.

While attempting to bring back her edgy spirit during the creepiest season of the year, "Good Morning America" tapped beauty vlogger Madaline Pompeii to break down how you can use makeup to become a modern-day version of beloved Buttercup.

"When you are creating a Halloween look inspired after a character, try to add your own flair and spin on to it," Pompeii advises. "There is no such thing as messing up a Halloween look, transform every flaw into an awesome characteristic instead."

While we would love to say all you have to do is add a little "sugar, spice, and everything nice," they're actually quite a few more steps involved in becoming Buttercup.

Just ahead, Pompeii gives us all the best products, tips, and tricks for whipping up your own version of the look.

Step 8: Use black eyeliner to draw squiggly lines spilling out from the broken edge of the flask, and fill in.

Step 9: Apply full voluminous eyelashes.

Step 10: Finish the look by applying black liquid lipstick and a touch of green eyeshadow in the middle of your lips.
