Transgender YouTube star Nikita Dragun debuts new makeup palette: 'A lot of people probably don't want to see me succeed'
The new look is for "girls, boys and anything in between."
Dragun Beauty's second product launch is here.
The company, founded by YouTube star and influencer Nikita Dragun, just dropped a new palette called Face.
The palette has six shades, consisting of two contours, two blushes and two highlights.
"It’s an all-in-one palette that you’re able to throw in your bag and take with you on a trip, knowing you’re set," Dragun told "Good Morning America."
The formulas are vegan, cruelty-free and free of parabens.
"I want to make products that are bomb not only for me, but for other people -- girls, boys and anything in between -- to inspire them to live their own truth and their fantasy," Dragun added.
Nikita Dragun first gained popularity three years ago when she opened up about being transgender.
Since then, she has become a big name in the beauty industry with her makeup tutorials.
She has more than 2.5 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 5.6 million followers on Instagram.
"I'm at the helm of my own beauty company, and to not only see a woman of color but also a trans woman of color owning a cosmetics brand for all is just something I’ve wanted to see," Dragun said.
Dragun Beauty launched in March with a color corrector and brightening powders.
The brand now has more than 480,000 followers on Instagram, and has gotten shoutouts from celebs such as Kim Kardashian and Sofia Richie.
"It means so much to own my own line. Being a trans woman, a business owner and a CEO ... I’m not the chairperson, I'm not the face, this is my brand and I truly embody it," Dragun told "GMA."
"A lot of people probably don't want to see me succeed, but ... I just want to create things that, as a beauty lover, I feel are lacking in the industry," Dragun added.
The packaging for Dragun's newest palette was inspired by her own journey.
"My packaging was inspired by my face after getting my facial feminization surgery," she said. "I was out of it -- hot, fresh off the operating table, and was wrapped up in a bunch of bandages, and for some reason, I thought, it was so beautiful how I looked like a little cocoon about to be a butterfly. So I wanted to emulate that in my palette."
To coincide this new launch, Dragun Beauty launched it's first-ever pop-up in Beverly Hills, California.
"Dragun Beauty is rapidly expanding. We’ve just opened my very first pop-up store in the Beverly Center on the seventh floor between all of the designer brands, which was insane because it was also the first pop-up to ever open at the Beverly Center," Dragun said.
Dragun Beauty's new palette is available now for $45.
