Meet 3 People Who Lost 515 Pounds Combined

USA Today kicks off its Weight Loss Challenge.

March 31, 2008 — -- USA Today is kicking off its fifth annual Weight Loss Challenge. For the next eight weeks, the paper is running stories about ordinary people who made significant changes to their lives and their waistlines.

Heather Burczynski, who lost 130 pounds; Scott Morrow, who lost 137 pounds; and Danielle Carter, who lost 248 pounds, accepted the challenge. They visited "Good Morning America" with tips on kick starting a diet and staying motivated.

Eat at home more often. It's good for the waistline and the pocketbook.
