Eligibility Guidelines:

Contest sponsored by Good Morning America ("GMA") and American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. ("ABC"), ("Sponsors").

Entrants to Good Morning America's "Disney Time Hometown Celebration" Contest ("Contest") must be legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia and must 18 years old or older, or the age of majority in the Entrants' state. The nominated Organizations must be tax-exempt organizations within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The Entrant must be affiliated with the Organization and acting on behalf of the Organization. The Organization can be a local chapter of an Organization with multiple chapters, or it can be the only chapter of an Organization. The winning Entrant, other members of the winning Organization and some members of the community who have benefited by this Organization must be available to participate in videotaped reports to be produced in March or April, 2013, and to appear live on GMA on or about April 5, 2013. (any and all dates will be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsors).

Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for GMA, ABC, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Contest or supplying the prize, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

How to Enter:

To enter, navigate the Internet to www.goodmorningamerica.com and click on the link for Good Morning America's "Disney Time Hometown Celebration" Contest which will take you to the Contest home page. There you will find instructions on the appropriate and acceptable file formats and sizes for submitting your entry electronically.

Submit an essay, not to exceed 200 words in length, explaining why a specific community Organization deserves to receive some "Disney Time" and be featured on Good Morning America. Tell us about your role in this Organization, how this Organization has benefited its community and the accomplishments of which it is proudest. Entrants may also include a photo of Organization members, however, photo submission is optional and entries will not be judged based on the photos. Entrants must have full rights to use any photo submitted; photos may not be the protected works of another party; entries submitted with inappropriate or offensive photos will be immediately disqualified. By submitting entry materials, entrants certify that such materials are original and created by entrant; that entrants have the necessary rights, permission and authority to submit such materials as well as necessary permission to discuss any person included or discussed as part of the entry; that materials submitted have not been entered into any other contest, fulfillment or related promotion or service; and, if applicable, that entrants maintain a valid copyright in any entry materials.

You must be a registered member of ABCNews.com or one of the WDIG Family of Sites to enter or you may become a member. Registration is free and only required once. Enter as follows:

a) If you are an existing ABCNews.com member, simply sign in on the Contest home page with your current member name and password.

b) If you are not an ABCNews.com member, you can register by clicking on the link located on the Contest home page. You will be asked to provide your first and last name, mailing address with zip code/postal code, phone number, e-mail address, gender, birthday, country, and to select a username and password.

You may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminder e-mails from the WDIG Family of Sites or from third parties. Consenting to receive promotional or reminder e-mails is optional and does not have to be agreed upon in order to be eligible to participate in the Contest and does not improve your chances of winning.

Upon submission, you will receive one (1) entry into the Contest. You will not receive an acknowledgement. Free internet access is available at most public libraries.

Incomplete entries will be disqualified. Proof of entering information at the Contest website or registration form is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by Sponsor of such entry. Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used in accordance with ABC.com's privacy policy, available at http://corporate.disney.go.com/corporate/pp.html.

Contest Entry Period: Good Morning America's "Disney Time Hometown Celebration" Contest entry period begins 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on 1/30/13 and ends at 3:00 p.m. ET on 02/20/13 (the "Contest Period"). Sponsors' computer is the official clock for this Contest.

Judging Procedure, Notification and Finalists Judging:

Eligible entries will be judged on the basis of potential for on-air appeal, compelling nature of story, overall readability of essay, feasibility of bringing a Disney party to that Organization's hometown, and feasibility of a live and tape broadcast. Decisions of the judges are final as to all Contest-related matters.

One entry will be chosen as the winning Organization ("Winner") by the judges.

The Entrant who submitted the entry for and on behalf of the winning Organization will be notified on or about March 5, 2013. The Entrant, a sufficient number of members of the winning Organization and others who have benefited by the Organization must be available to be videotaped by Good Morning America sometime between March 5 and April 22, 2013 for one or more videotaped and live segments the broadcast may produce related to the winning Organization.

In the event the winning Organization is deemed ineligible, fails to comply with contest procedures, or a sufficient number of Organization and community members are not available to participate as specified, then the first runner-up Organization will be selected to be featured on Good Morning America, time permitting.

In the event of a tie, the entry with the highest score in the compelling nature of story category will be declared the winner.

Prize:

The Contest prize is a "Disney Time" party, presented by Disney Destinations, LLC, in the town where the winning Organization is located. This festive celebration may include photo and meet and greet opportunities with Disney characters, Disney musical entertainment and performances, family activities, Disney Parks treats and snacks, commemorative souvenirs, party favors and a special presentation to the winning Organization. Final party details (party elements, date, time, length of celebration, etc.) are at the sole discretion of Disney Destinations, LLC. The winning Organization and the Disney entertainment will be featured in videotaped and/or live broadcast segments on Good Morning America, as determined by the Sponsors.

All videotape and live production will be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsors. The winning Organization is not entitled to exchange or transfer the prize or to obtain cash or other substitutes, but Sponsors and Disney Destinations, LLC, in their sole discretion, may substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

Any appearance on Good Morning America is subject to availability. Sponsors are not responsible for cancellation or preemption of show or for other circumstances that make it impractical or impossible to fulfill this element of the prize. The appearance portion of the prize has no approximate retail value and if it becomes impractical or impossible to fulfill this or any element, Disney Destinations, LLC's only obligation will be to provide the remainder of prize, if any.

The Entrant whose submission wins the Contest is acting on behalf of the winning Organization and that Entrant will have no rights personally to receive a prize. Federal, state and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of the prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winning Organization. The winning Organization must provide a validly completed IRS Form W-9 to the Sponsors. An IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more, if required by law, will be issued to the winning Organization by the Sponsors. The approximate retail value of the prize is $75,000.00. (Seventy-five thousand dollars).The final value of the prize will be determined at the sole discretion of Disney Destinations, LLC, based upon elements used to fulfill the prize.

Releases:

By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsors/Judges, which shall be final in all respects. By entering the Contest, Entrants and authorized representatives of the Organizations agree to execute in a timely manner and by any deadline set by Sponsors any and all paperwork requested by the Sponsors which may include, but is not limited to, a background check, verification of the Organization as being a tax-exempt organization within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and any release forms, prior to any on-line or on air appearance of Entrant and winning Organization participating in the videotaped or live broadcast, or use of Entrant's submission or related materials.

All submissions will become the sole property of ABC, which may reprint or otherwise exploit the entries in any manner, in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity. Entrants may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, release and indemnification within seven days of notification of winning. By participating in this contest and by the Organization's acceptance of any prize that it may win, Entrants and their Organizations agree to release American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., its parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this contest and/or acceptance, use or misuse of any prize or portion of any prize.

Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials as well as the name, city and state and information on their nominated Organizations, in programming or promotional material in any and all media currently in existence or hereafter created, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a winner's list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsors are not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsors' sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.

Entrants acknowledge that any entry materials may be included and/or discussed in a broadcast, that such discussion may include statements or opinions by the broadcast talent or others about the entrants, the entrants' appearances and/or the materials, and that those statements and opinions may be considered surprising, humiliating, embarrassing, derogatory, defamatory or otherwise offensive or injurious to them, Sponsors' employees, their studio or at-home audience and/or other third parties. Entrants release the Released Parties from any actions, claims, injury, loss or damage allegedly caused, directly or indirectly, by any such statements or opinions made during a broadcast.

Sponsors are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this contest. In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to the owner of the e-mail account, not the name on the entry form.To claim prize: (a) Entrant for the winning Organization must provide proof of age, identity and residency; (b) authorized representative of the winning Organization must sign and return affidavit of eligibility/compliance with rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification, and (c) Entrant and Winner must also agree to complete and submit any additional releases, indemnifications and other requisite paperwork as specified at the discretion of the Sponsors, all within the time period specified by Sponsors.

Miscellaneous; Winner Posting:

Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the contest in the event of tampering or other circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the contest as originally planned.
