In the event of a tie, entrants with the highest scores in the compelling nature of the trick category will be declared the semi-finalists. In the event that any of the semi-finalists or their dogs is deemed ineligible, fails to comply with Contest procedures, or is not available to participate as specified, then the first runner-up will be selected to participate, time permitting.
Potential semi-finalists will be notified on or about June 16, 2013.
On June 17, 18 and 19, 2013, videos and/or photos of two different semi-finalists dogs performing their tricks will be aired each day on "Good Morning America". Viewers will be asked to vote for their favorite of the two dogs from each day. Voting is available on GoodMorningAmerica.com. Voting will run through 3 pm ET each day. The dog with the most votes from each day's face-off ("Finalist") will be announced the following day on "Good Morning America".
