Learn How to Walk Like Gisele Bundchen
March 2, 2006 -- Many women have dreamed of looking like Brazilian supermodel and Victoria's Secret spokeswoman Gisele Bundchen. Well, now you can walk like Bundchen. She has shared her secrets of how she struts her stuff down the runway. Here are tips for a great walk.
Scratch the bottom of new shoes to prevent slipping and sliding. The first tip for walking like a supermodel is don't fall. If you're putting on new shoes, take a pair of scissors and scratch in a crisscross pattern any part of the sole that makes contact with the ground.
Hold your shoulders back for better posture. Or, as Bundchen likes to say, "Hold your shoulders back and your heart will lead the way." When you hold your shoulders back, everything else falls into place -- you will have better posture and your chest, thrust forward, will lead your whole body. And, you will look lighter. When you walk in high heels with bad posture, your whole orientation is forward and you look almost hunchbacked.
Shift all your weight to the front of your feet for proper balance. Shifting your weight onto the balls of your feet allows you to strike the right balance between your head and your toes. Also, similar to good posture, putting your weight on the front of your feet helps you look slimmer.
