Meet Hilarie Barsky, Host of GMA Radio

Listen to the newsmakers, celebrities and experts from 8 a.m. to noon.

— -- Hilarie Barsky is the host of "Good Morning America Radio," which airs weekdays from 8 a.m. to noon EST on XM's Channel 155.

The program combines her talents as news anchor, interviewer and talk show host. She arrived in New York in January of 2006 to host "Good Morning America Radio," after living in Dallas for five years.

While in the "Big D," Hilarie hosted a female targeted talk show that aired on CFUN-AM, Vancouver, B.C.,and Sirius Satellite Radio. Hilarie also has hosted talk shows on KLIF-AM in Dallas, and WPHT-AM, and WWDB-FM, in Philadelphia.

She began her talk radio career at New Jersey 101.5, as co-host of the popular "Jay and Hilarie Show." She has also been in front of the camera, appearing on "Good Morning America," "Fox News National," and WPVI-TV and WCAU-TV in Philadelphia, among many others.

After graduating from La Salle University with a B.A in English/Communications, Hilarie embarked on her journey in radio, first behind the scenes as a talk show producer at Philadelphia's legendary, CBS station, WCAU-AM. She then moved behind the mic, playing the role of sidekick, comedy bit writer, and impressionist as part of those "wacky" morning show ensembles on WCAU-FM, Sunny 104.5, KISS-100 in Philadelphia.

Aside from her extensive broadcast background in news and talk radio, Hilarie's resume also includes producing morning television, comedy writing, and performing improvisational comedy.

Hilarie is a voice-over artist, and her vocal talents can be heard on national, local and promotional television and radio spots throughout the country. With a strong suit for doing characters and impressions, Hilarie has contributed customized comedy bits and performed her many character voices and impressions for a host of national and local radio shows in North America.

As a self-proclaimed information junkie, Hilarie is continuously searching for knowledge, and on a spiritual note, enlightenment. When she's not on the air, she can be found online getting information, of course, writing her memoirs (isn't everyone?) or jogging, so she can burn off enough calories to indulge in her favorite pastime ... FOOD!

Currently, she resides in Manhattan with her Russian Blue Cat, "Fatboy," who is NOT overweight!
