Chris Cuomo Driving Instructor?
Find out what job suits Chris Cuomo best.
Sept. 24, 2008 -- Sure "Good Morning America's" Chris Cuomo loves his job, in part because it's given him a chance to talk to characters from all walks of life and put him in some intense situations.
But is being a newsman Chris' ultimate calling? To find out he took a quiz from Self-Directed Search.
Maybe his previous work background would provide insight. Chris' first job was as a paperboy.
"Collection day was a little tricky, people not quite as available on collection day as they should be," he said.
But Chris admitted he was skeptical about the possibility of a personality exam telling him what careers would work best for him.
"I think that you can't just base whether somebody will be good at what they do in life based on what their aptitudes are or their preferences," he said. "Often you wind up being good at whatever you do because you become dedicated to it."
But the Italian never dreamed that he'd end up as a morning new anchor.
"I would have never thought that I'd be good at what I'm doing now. Maybe I'm not," Chris said.
Perhaps the quiz could reveal something, and so Chris sat down with an open mind and answered seemingly endless questions.
The result: he's social, enterprising and realistic, so his ultimate careers would be a hair stylist, executive chef and a driving instructor.
The one career the test picked that Chris was surprised about was being a law man.
"I'd like to be a police officer," he said. "Those guys are some of the bravest men and women I know."
