Answer: Anxiety disorders include a number of different subcategories: generalized anxiety, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder and social phobia. And really for all of these different categories, women are more likely than men to develop anxiety disorders. Excepting obsessive compulsive disorder in which the frequency is really equal, women to men.
And overall, anxiety disorders are just very common It's important to know about 15 percent of people at any given time have an anxiety disorder, one of those I previously mentioned.
