How Does Stress Affect Asthma?
Dr. James Li answers the question: 'How Does Stress Affect Asthma?'
-- Question: How does stress affect asthma?
Answer: There was a notion some years ago that stress might actually cause asthma. We don't think that's the case any longer. People with asthma -- especially if their asthma is out of control now and then -- can develop stress and problems from the asthma itself. We find that proper treatment and the use of an action plan can help alleviate that stress.
