What Do I Do When I Cannot Get Up In The Morning And Do My Usual Things?
Dr. Barry Rovner answers the question: 'How Do I Cope With Dreary Mornings?'
-- Question: What do I do when I cannot get up in the morning and do my usual things?
Answer: Everybody has bad days sometimes and don't feel like getting up and doing their usual things. The problem though is if that's persistent every day. If somebody doesn't have the energy, the initiative, to get up and do their usual things -- for more than a couple days in a row -- then that suggests a problem that they should see their primary care doctor about to distinguish whether that's because of a physical health problem, or from depression.
