March 16, 2009 -- Question: What does it mean to have "aggressive" prostate cancer and how is that determined?

Answer: Aggressive or high-risk prostate cancer usually describes a cancer that wants to act aggressively. Usually, these prostate cancers are higher Gleason score, Gleason score eight through 10. It's more likely that we will find more advanced disease. And we'll need more than one treatment option to help control the cancer.
