What Is The Difference Between A Diet And A Lifestyle?
Adele Hite answers the question: "Difference Between Diet and Lifestyle?"
February 1, 2009 -- Question: What is the difference between a diet and a lifestyle?
Answer: Well it can be confusing when we use the term diet because it really means two things. People go on a diet to lose weight, but then everybody has a diet it means that's the way that you eat. That's your way of eating. It's your lifestyle approach to healthy eating. So when you're on a diet to lose weight, it may or may not be one that you want to approach -- to adapt as a lifestyle approach.
And whatever diet you choose, whether it's one for weight loss or whether it's one that you've chosen to use for the long term, you need to make sure that it's a good fit for you. Going to see your doctor regularly, having regular checkups, will help you and your doctor decide whether or not this is a good way for you to stay healthy.
