Ex-Cincinnati Bengal Devon Still Says Daughter Leah Has No Signs of Cancer

— -- Former Cincinnati Bengals player Devon Still said new medical tests show no signs of cancer in his daughter, Leah.
Leah Still was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma last year at age 4. The disease develops from immature nerve cells found in several areas of the body and primarily affects children younger than 5, according to the Mayo clinic.
After treatment including chemotherapy and surgery, Leah was declared in March to be in remission with no signs of cancer.
Devon Still, 26, relayed the good news last week that tests showed Leah still had no signs of cancer months after she finished treatment.
"Thanks for all the support and prayers!" Still wrote on Instagram. "Just got the phone call that her scans showed NED (no evidence of disease)! #LeahStrong."
Still was released from the Bengals roster this fall, but he said at the time he was thankful for the team's support when Leah was getting treated for cancer.
"Have nothing but love for the Bengals organization and the city of Cincinnati," he wrote on Instagram at the time. “Both helped me through one of the darkest times of my life and I am forever grateful. It's time to move forward and see what's next.”
