Leah Still 'Beat Cancer' After Final Scheduled Treatment, Dad Says

Devon Still posted an update on his daughter on Twitter.

The girl, who went into remission last year, had what her dad hopes will be the final treatment related to the cancer diagnosis. Devon Still posted on Twitter that Leah was in the hospital for her last scheduled treatment after being diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in 2014.

Last March, Leah was found to have no signs of cancer and subsequent tests have found no evidence that the cancer has returned. Devon Still posted an emotional Twitter message about his daughter's battle with cancer.

"It’s crazy to sit here in the hospital know that after leah [sic] gets discharged tomorrow we are really done with this chapter in our lives," Still wrote Monday night.

She really beat cancer! Beyond thankful for all the support y’all showed us — Devon Still (@Dev_Still71) January 12, 2016

He posted a picture of Leah at the hospital smiling at the camera as she underwent her final scheduled cancer treatment.

Leah underwent multiple treatments to fight the deadly cancer, including chemotherapy and surgery, starting when she was 4 years old. She won the Jimmy V. Perseverance Award at last year’s ESPYs.
