Jane Green Pens Royal Wedding eBook for ABC News

April 14, 2011— -- She's a New York Times best-selling author. She has a spectacularly lovely British accent. And she's been watching the royals for just about her entire life.

"Catnip for royal watchers," is how Juju Chang described "A Modern Fairy Tale" on "Good Morning America" this morning during a interview with the Green, the author of a dozen chick-lit novels, including "The Beach House" and "Jemima J."

Green is no stranger to writing about love, but "A Modern Fairy Tale" is her first foray into nonfiction.

"As you're reading about Charles and Diana's engagement, you can click on the box and suddenly see the interview from all those years ago," said Green.

"It feels quite Harry Potter-ish," Green said, with "characters suddenly talking on the page."
