Prince William Hits Polo Fields as Kate Dazzles on the Red Carpet

July 10, 2011— -- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their second day in Los Angeles in royal fashion, playing polo and mingling with Hollywood elite.

William showed off his athleticism at a charity polo match, scoring four goals and leading his team to victory, Saturday afternoon.

"My father, the Prince of Wales, and my brother, Harry, were as green as that grass outside when I told them I'd be here today," William told a reception at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, according to the Associated Press. "Catherine and I have had a busy few days — so the prospect of being able to let loose this afternoon is wonderful for me."

After the match, the Royal Couple headed to the star-studded British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Brits to Watch gala.

Prince William, who serves as the president of BAFTA, took the opportunity to introduce himself to some of Hollywood's biggest names.

Those lucky enough to sit at Will and Kate's table included Nicole Kidman and Barbra Streisand. Also in attendance were Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez and other celebrities.

But the real star of the day was Kate, whose clothing – a marble silk dress by British designer Jenny Packham in the afternoon and a lavender Alexander McQueen dress in the evening – earned characteristically high praise from the fashion world.

Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe called Kate's wardrobe choices "flawless."

Actress Rosario Dawson, who attended the BAFTA gala, also praised Kate's fashion sense. "I think Catherine seems very in her body," Dawson told the Associated Press. "She seems very clear about who she is. She doesn't dress too old, she doesn't dress too young."

The Royal Couple will spend one more day in Los Angeles before heading home.
