British Royal Zara Phillips Weds Rugby Star Mark Tindall
The year's second British royal wedding was decidely low-key.
July 30, 2011 -- Britain's swells broke out their funny hats for another royal wedding Saturday as Queen Elizabeth II's eldest granddaughter, Zara Phillips, married England rugby star Mike Tindall in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The royal wedding is the second Britain has seen this year, but this affair was not accompanied by the pomp and circumstance that Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoyed in April.

Instead it was a low-key, private ceremony and was not broadcast on television, according to the Associated Press.
Phillips, 30, is 13th in line to the throne but does not use a royal title. She is a world-class equestrian, likely to compete in the 2012 Olympics. She met Tindall in 2003 in Australia during England's triumphant Rugby World Cup campaign, the AP reported. Tindall proposed to her as he and Phillips curled up on a sofa at home watching a movie.
Phillips wore an ivory silk dress and full-length veil by British designer Stewart Parvin, who is one of the Queen's favorite designers. She wore Jimmy Choo shoes and a Greek Key tiara lent to her by mother Princess Anne.
The bride's father, Mark Phillips, led her into Edinburgh's Canongate Kirk, a 17th century church as crowds waved and cheered. The bride waved back to the crowd briefly.
The bride arrived five minutes late for the service, which was led by Rev. Neil Gardner.
Guests included the newlywed Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry. Middleton wore a cream-colored printed coat, dress and hat.
Other female guests sported eye-catching hats, as is the British fashion. Katherine Kelly, the star of the British soap opera Coronation Street, was among the first guests to arrive. She wore a bright tangerine-colored hat with a fuchsia ribbon, and a matching tangerine handbag. The accessories livened up her long flowing ballerina-pink dress.
The private reception was held at Queen Elizabeth's Scottish residence, the Palace of Holyrood House.
