New, heartbreaking photos show the body of a young refugee girl off the coast of Turkey, according to Turkish officials.
The body of the 4-year-old girl was found between rocks by a Turkish fisherman, officials said.
Officials believe the girl was one of the refugees who went missing after a dinghy capsized last Wednesday. Fifteen people went missing after the accident, and the 4-year-old was one of the many bodies recovered, said officials.
The girl's body was identified by one of the survivors, officials said.
In September, a series of photos circulated of another child refugee, a young boy, who also drowned on a Turkish beach, prompting outrage over the lack of help refugees were being given in Europe.
