There were casualties on the grass and the scene was gruesome, we immediately began triage, several casualties were evacuated to local clinics, and our teams were redirected to there. There were further Red Alert sirens while we were on scene, and medical treatment continued throughout," Emergency Services Senior EMT Idan Avshalom said in a statement.

The IDF said the casualty number is expected to rise.
