Pope Francis is in Cuba ahead of trip to U.S.

The pontiff began Sunday by holding Mass in Havana's Revolution Square. The Mass was attended by 300,000 people, according to the Cuban government.

He then met with former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

Francis finished his day with a vespers service and a meeting with Cuban youths.

Francis began his 10-day trip to Cuba and the U.S. Saturday, addressing the crowd at Jose Marti International Airport upon his arrival and hailing the two countries for reestablishing diplomatic relations following a long period of estrangement.
