Dozens were killed during violent clashes.
May 5, 2014 -- The trade union building in Odessa, Ukraine, has become a shrine to the dozens who were killed during violent clashes in the Southern port city over the weekend - including an attack on police headquarters.
More than 40 were killed during the incident - which Ukrainian prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk described as "a tragedy for all Ukraine."
Government buildings in more than a dozen cities across the country have been taken over by pro-Russian forces - sparking concern that the violence could lead to a civil war in the country.
