See Video of Wild Elephant Climbing on Car in Thailand
Mating season cited as reason for elephant's aggression.
-- A wild elephant in Thailand was caught on video climbing onto a car Saturday.
The elephant can be seen on camera walking into a lane of traffic and putting its front legs on the hood of a car in Khao Yai National Park near the capital, Bangkok, the BBC reported.
The elephant had reportedly escaped from a national park earlier in the day.
Just two days later, an elephant reportedly crashed into a shop and restaurant at the park, breaking through the window with its trunk. It's unclear whether it was same elephant, according to the BBC.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
Officials reportedly said the behavior is caused by mating season.
